Dangal Trailer Review, Rating, Story, Aamir Khan’s Dangal first impressions:
Story: Dangal is an extraordinary true story based on the life of Mahavir Singh and his two daughters, Geeta and Babita Phogat. The film traces the inspirational journey of a father who trains his daughters to become world class wrestlers
Everyone was so excited about the movie because of Aamir Khan and as we can expect a good movie from him always. In the first impressions, the major thing that impresses me in the cinematography. The cinematography by Setu is very good as helps the movie establish a village scenario to it. Aamir Khan is all beefed up and shines as a mature but strict father. The surprise package comes from the two young girls Sakshi Tanwar and Sanya Malhotra who potray the roles of Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, daughters of Mahavir Singh Phogat. The two actress were good as professional athletes who fight for their father’s happiness and India’s pride.
Dangal(Fighting/Wrestling ground) follows the journey of Mahavir Singh Phogat, a wrestler by profession wants a son as his child because he wants to train him in wrestling and make him a gold medal champion of India in wrestling. But in return, he gets blessed with 2 daughters and after initial sadness, Mahavir Singh Phogat trains his 2 daughters in professional wrestling.
- Geeta Phogat won the gold medal(55 kg) in 2010 commonwealth games becoming the first female wrestler from India to win at commonwealth.
- Babita Kumari won the silver medal(51 kg) in 2010 commonwealth games
Overall, Dangal is a very well made beautiful film, that looks visually promising and also the dialogue suits the tone of the film.
Let’s just hope that the movie is about the journey and not about the winning.
